Not The Average Pressure Washing CompanyCommercial Restorations has built a reputation as one of the most experienced pressure washing  companies in the Country for exterior building cleaning and pressure washing.

We built this Facebook page to help consumers find a pressure washing company with the right training and qualifications for pressure washing.

We have written several guides that explain basic procedures that every pressure washing company uses so that you have a better understanding of the industry standards for pressure washing companies.  In our guide you will learn what to avoid when hiring a pressure washing company and how to protect your property from damages.  We list some samples of damages caused by high pressure cleaning methods below.

Has a pressure washing company damaged your property?

A pressure washing company damaged these surfaces with high pressure while cleaning these decks, siding, wood, concrete, houses, aluminum sidingHigh pressure doesn’t just damage wood or siding, as you can see from some of these photos, it can also damage concrete as well.

This might come as a surprise, but did you know that concrete can take nearly 100 years to completely cure?  If a pressure washing company cleans it within 3 years after it has been installed it will usually damage it.

Have you seen a pressure washing company damage concrete by using a tool called a turbo nozzle?  It shoots out a laser beam of water at 3,000 PSI that some pressure washing company employees use to attempt to blast gum off of the surface.

Brick buildings are also damaged every day from high pressure also, and they are also damaged when a pressure washing company decides to use Muriatic acid that they picked up from the hardware store!  Muriatic and other acids can destroy brick, stone and glass surfaces quickly, not to mention the damage that they can cause to pedestrians in the area!

With over 23 years of experience as a pressure washing company I can honestly tell you that there are a lot of companies out there that try to do the job right, they just don’t have the proper training or experience yet, it does take time to learn how to pressure wash correctly, believe it or not!  Anyone can go out and buy a pressure washer at Home Depot, and claim to be a pressure washing company, but there is a lot of science involved as well.

Three of the most important things every pressure washing company needs to know are:

  1. What type of dirt or stain is on the surface?
  2. What type of surface are you removing it from?
  3. What type of cleaner do you need to use to break it down so it can be rinsed off with low pressure, instead of high pressure to blast it off!

If the pressure washing company that is giving you a proposal can’t answer these three questions, then don’t hire them!  That may sound harsh but the bottom line is, it’s your property that they will be cleaning and if the pressure washing company doesn’t do it incorrectly you could easily have thousands of dollars in damages as a result!
